Hi there,

since Ubuntu 8.10 didn't had support for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 of my new laptop I'm wondering whether any development builds of Ubuntu 9.04 are currently available for download.

Thanks,
Stephan

Actually alpha 4 has been out for over a week, If you are going to try Jaunty, you will have to use the open source drivers for your ATI graphics card as the closed source drivers don't work with the latest x-server.

If you still want to try Jaunty in spite of the graphics problems, you should ask your questions in the right (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=352) place.

I never used an alpha-version before. Can I update to the next alpha version using the Update Manager?

Once you install Alpha 4; all you need to do is to keep up with the updates and you end up with the Final release.
