Hi -- I installed Ubuntu 8.10 desktop edition on a Sony PCG-R505GCK laptop. During the install the display worked fine.
After the install, I have an light orange screen and a mouse cursor but nothing else.
I have tried to edit the boot lines to include vga=771 but that did not seem to work.
Anyone have a solution for me?
