I like Gnome. I don't like KDE. I WANT to use gnome, BUT, there are a few things about gtk that just make me a bit nervous.
For example:
Some times when I want to open a file, the "open" dialog appears as a little window in the center of the screen, and I have to re-size it so I can use it. I find this VERY anoying. I think it may happen when the dialog is bigger than the screen and doesn't fit well...
There's another thing that bothers me, but I don't know how to explain it, so I will just post a screenshot that shows the problem. It happens when I open a list to select the file type in OpenOffice (but it also happensin a lot of other dialogs)

Finally, this one is about Compiz. When I use the wobbly windows effect, some times I maximize a window, and the content will not refresh, so I go and click everywere and aparently nothing happens, but if I restore the window, I see that it does, only that che changes didn't show.
Is there a way to fix this bugs??
I hope someone understands what I was trying to say.
Thanks!
