Is there a program or way to do desktop spanning across multiple hosts like maxivista for windows?
Here is the hardware situation,
1x (powerful) desktop, 19" 1280x1024
3x (older) laptops, 15" 1400x1050
I would like to span a single (or multiple X sessions together) across the 3 laptops to get a higher resolution triple screen.
I have been looking into xrandr and Xinerama but I'm not sure they can manage remote X sessions.
The ultimate goal is to have the desktop as the host with a virtual machine of XP spanned across the 3 laptop screens to utilize the high res of the laptop screens. (My work requires Windows if your wondering but I want to do this with linux)
Is this possible?
