I am using 8.04 and it's working fine. I'm not experiencing any issue and I am loving it.

But I wanna make sure my system is always protected against any virus or vulnerabilities.

Is 8.04 still safe?
Is 8.10 safer than 8.04?

Should I upgrade to 8.10 even if my only concern regards my system's safety?

Hi and if you have no issues with Hardy 8.04 then you may choose to stay with it as it is LTS long term support. I am using Hardy :)
