What should I put on a memory stick to fix a friend's network? I think it's malware problems.

Be exceptionally careful if it's a Windows machine; lots of malware is spread via USB stick and autorun.

You'd probably be better off sticking removal tools (should you know what the malware is), installs of Malware removal tools such as Lavasoft's Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, AVG Free, etc. on a CD and using that instead of a memory stick.

this is what i use, it can be downloaded to your own usb for free. i would NOT suggest the command line interface for first time users. the first time you use it you will get a lot of false postives, be carefull what you quarantine, you can take out an OS if your not. big plus is that you can send in the scan results and EMSI will analyze the test results for you...
