I'm using Jaunty KDE4.2 and want to show a number of plasmoids on my display including some of the default system monitor plasmoids. How do I resize them, so they take up less space ?

Not sure about Jaunty, I'm on Intrepid here, but should be the same (4.2). Every widget/plasmoid will show a sidebar (left or right) with options to configure, delete or resize it. Just use the upper "square" icon on that sidebar, keep it selected (cursor+left click) and try moving it; size will change.

You may wanna take a look at the visual guide for kde 4.2 (http://www.kde.org/announcements/4.2/guide.php), lots of info there.

You need to 'unlock widgets' first, before the resizing bar appears. Ctrl+L is the default kde shortcut for this.

Merci Monsieur Gonzalez. There seems to be a limit on how small you can make the plasmoids. It looks like the system monitor plasmoids can't be reduced that much from their default sizes.
