I've had a good look around, but can't find a decent website editor. I'm handy with text editors, but sometimes I need to have a look at the page and tweak it, you know?

I've used Kompozer - unusable native, but runs OK under WINE. It's just not very good - Can't drag and drop elements, it's very hit and miss.

I guess I want dreamweaver but can't afford a license.

Any other good WYSIWYG web editors around?

i think it has been posted several times with this kind of topic...but anyway, you could try bluefish (its in the repos), or quanta plus, it has similar features from dreamweaver...

Yeah sorry, my forum searching skills are worse than my HTML skills. I did have a look!

I'll have a go with Bluefish, thanks.

Have you looked at: SeaMonkey (http://www.seamonkey-project.org/)?... I haven't tried it but is like the old Mozilla/Netscape that is a total Suite i.e. Browser/Email/IRC Client/HTML/Editor/etc.

You can also look here under the Title: Free WYSIWYG Web Editors and Website Builders (http://www.thefreecountry.com/webmaster/htmleditors.shtml)...
