Completely not related to Ubuntu, but I bet I'm not the only one outsourcing email hosting to Gmail with Google Apps. If so, you'll probably find this (http://www.playingwithwire.com/2009/02/some-frustrating-gmail-imap-gimap-bugs/) article interesting as it talks about two pretty serious GIMAP bugs. More importantly, according to the article, Google has little interest in fixing them.

I gave up on Gmail's IMAP. It's absolutely terrible. I've found a mail provider that offers real IMAP.

Yeah, you're right. They have _a lot_ of bugs that they need to figure out before it's really ready for prime-time business usage.
