I have a Dell 1525n running 8.04, home Wifi 802.11g which works fine:D
Running Ubuntu 8.10 from a CD, cannot setup Wireless:(
1) I tried searching for "BSSID" in the Forums, but nothing shows up.
What is "BSSID"? My network is 5 PCs to Wifi Router for Online only. No Sharing.
2) In the "IPv4 Settings" Tab, it asks for "DHCP Client ID", what is it asking for?
3) I typed in my Wireless Router's ESSID, IP Address, WPA Key, but the "OK" Button is 'Graded-out" so I cannot get on line.

My Ubuntu 8.04's Wifi Radar, Network Connections is using "Roaming Mode" with WPA and it works Fine.

Any help?
