Ok so here is the deal.... I try booting the Ubuntu Live CD or I try booting the Live CD on my USB Flash Drive and well the topic describes the problem perfectly.
1. I put the live cd in the try and close the try
2. I reboot my machine and tell it to boot the cd
3. the ubuntu pre-install menu appears i select english as the language and I select install (even with safe graphics this occurs)
4. preboot of the live CD goes 100%
5. Ubuntu screen appears with load bar and everything goes smoothly
6. After Ubuntu Screen my screen turns off... as in no response from the video card and the green light is flashing as to indicate screen is in standby mode
7. I here the ubuntu boot sound (drums/noises etc.....)
Now I have installed ubuntu before but now it does not want to work @ all
The following are the parts inside my pc
ASUS A8N-E Mobo
AMD 64 3200
2.5gb APACER RAM
ATI x1600 PCI-E
3 SATA HDD
1 IDE HDD
2 dvd burners
floppy drive
PCI Firewire card
any help would be nice
