Editable .pdf program?

I'm new to Ubuntu...is there a program other than Adobe that offers an editable .pdf?

Im not completely sure, but go to Symantic Package Installer and search for it (Im new to ubuntu too, so mmy advice might not be the best)

hi there is a package called "pdfedit" but its not the thing you need if you want just comment and markup tools for pdfs. I use "foxit reader" and "pdfxview" (both are windows applications)running them in ubuntu by "wine".
