I'm using Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE 4

Upon installing all fonts were too small.
I opened systemsettings and enabled force dpi 96 and increased font slightly. This fixed the majority of the fonts. However it did not fix adept or the login screen.

using <kdesudo systemsettings> I also enabled force dpi 96 and increased the font to match my other font. Works great for Adept but the login screen is still too small.

So I opened non-kdesudo systemsettings under the advanced tab in LoginManager and tried to bump up the font size because there is no force dpi. This did not work. Then I tried to go use <kdesudo systemsettings> again and use that LoginManager. That didn't work either. However, now when I type <kdesudo systemsettings> into terminal it gives me pages of

Looking for children in ' "<<one of the system setting buttons names>>"
findServiceByDesktopPath: not found

some of them come up with "found module" but others don't. And I can no longer open up the LoginManager under <kdesudo systemsettings>

What should I do to fix these issues?
