Hey... I want my ubuntu desktop to have the little dash bar at the bottom like in Mac OSX ive seen people do it with ubuntu. Could some 1 tell me how to edit them please? TYVM!!!

You will need to install screenlets. That will allow you to put things like the "bar" at the bottom of your screen.

AWN is a good MAClike dock.

AWN is Avant Window Navigator, and can be installed by typing


sudo aptitude install avant-window-navigator

You should search for Mac4Lin, its an excellent theme that has instruction and the files to change the boot loader splash, icons, window decorations, wallpaper, login screen, awn and everything

i did the AWN code install for terminal and nothing Changed. Is their anything else i needed to do :l
