GNOME will still try to restart the Setting Daemon next time you log in.

You need to try to install from the alternate cd iso, as the system requirements for the Live (Desktop) CD include a minimum of 384mb RAM.

After installation is complete restart, ubuntu Logo does not appear after the screen.
