Ubuntu 8.10 display issue on INTEL Menlow board

Hi all:

I met some problems for installing Ubuntu 8.10 on INTEL Menlow board with LVDS display. After installing ubuntu 8.10 OS and reboot, it will enter the TEXT mode without UI. So i reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04, the LVDS display is workable normally. It seems need to do some configurations on the Xorg, but i do not have more information about this. Does anyone have some suggestion for this issue? The log information is attached.

I think your monitor isn't being detected properly. Start in recovery mode and at the menu select xfix, once it is finished select resume, and it should start up to the desktop.
