Another annoying NOOB I am.

Does anybody know where to find format software. My partionmajic doesn't support ext3.

Download and burn gparted live to a cd:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=115843&package_id=271779

Download the .iso file ^^^

Afterwards, you boot it and partition whatever you need to

You can also boot a ubuntu live cd and use gparted (System>Admin>Partition Editor)
