Trying to dual boot my machine with ubuntu and xp. The drive is split 40gigs and 40 gigs. XP is in fat32 format but the ubuntu partion is in ext2 format. I have read Ubuntu runs best in ext3 format because of the journaling but I cannot find out how to change it to ext3.
I'm just getting started in linux but very eager to learn. I installed it on an old 6 gig hd I have and can't beleive how well it runs.
Thanks
