No boot into GUI, desktop, gome or whatever.

I have PCLinuxOS installed on hda and last night installed Ubuntu studio on hdb.I can boot into PClinuxOS but Ubuntu just will not go into the GUI automatically. It stops at a "DOS" like login and then I don't know where to go from there.:confused:

Thanks, I tried that but it said I needed to install startx. So I looked through other threads and installed the Ubuntu-Desktop and then it booted right into to the GUI. Now Iḿ installing ubuntu-studio and itś relative packages through synaptic. I think Iḿ good now. Thanks again.

I assumed the desktop was part of the download since they showed a gui screenshots page. Glad ya got it!
