How to automatically download new package information on a schedule?

I know that there's some way to do it every night. I thought I saw it once in the software sources box, but I can't remember how to do it. Every night would be good, every shutdown would be good. Whatever. Thanks!

On the updates tab in software sources you have the options of: Daily, Every 2 Days, Weekly and Every 2 Weeks. As for setting a time or when shutting down, not that I'm aware of.
