Hi, I just installed ubunto 8.10 with the nvidia driver 177.82 and connected it to my pair of monitors via multiple X screens:
- Samsung 17" display (1280x1024)
- Sony bravia TV (1360x768)
Everything seems to be working fine except the desktop on the sony tv is clipped, with approximately 80 pixels of black on the right side. It's almost as if the second monitor is being clipped to the resolution of the first monitor. The funny thing is that I can move my cursor into the black area, but any applications run within my desktop are limited to the non-black area.
Any ideas?
