Broken Sound??? (Solved)

I have just spent about 3 hours trying to fix the sound which had suddenly stopped working, with no success. I have searched these forums, googled until my eyes started to hurt, then just a minute ago my son admitted to using the speakers with his phone this morning and he must have pluged them back in the wrong sockets. Problem solved, the sound is back and I feel really stupid.

The internet wasn't working and I spent 30 minutes only to find out the cable was unplugged.#-o

I've done the same thing but instead of being unpluged the speakers (2 feet away from me) were off
