Hi,
I hope this is the right forum channel!
I've installed Ubuntu Inprepid Ibex.
When I open Nautilus and browse to Computer locations i only see Filesystem (my Ubuntu Partition) and cdrom0.
I don't see my windows partition.
If I insert an SD card i don't see it either.
I can however manually mount the devices if I find out there names in /dev.
If I run the Live CD version, all these features work, it's very annoying I have to manually mount my Windows partition.
Also the live version shows my network in Nautilus network locations, the one installed on my laptop doesn't.
But again I can manually mount the network devices.
If no one has an answer I was thinking to reinstall my system, but first backing it up using this method:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=35087
Or would this also 'backup' the problem and come back when I restore my system?
Help would be appreciated!
