I've a weird issue on ubuntu 8.10.. when i right click on the battery icon on the panel in gnome, I see 4 batteries listed.
When i right click on the network manager applet, I see 4 instances of my ethernet and wireless cards shown (total 8).
everything works fine, but any idea on whats causing 4 of these guys to appear.. any way to reset these?
One thing is that I'd installed is KDE 4.2 from kubuntu-experimental, and then switched back to gnome.
I cant seem to take any screenshots because when the battery/network menu is opened, printscreen isn't caught by the desktop anymore.
