KDE4.2 window controls disappeared

Hi Installed KDE 4.2 and all of sudden all my windown controls dissappeared

I'm no longer able to resize, minimize or close the windows

Here is my system

vostro 1000 with AMD tk57 chip 2.2g ram

you may ned to disable desktop effects, also go to stystem settings>appearance>windows click on the defaults button lower lleft corner
