Oh my gosh! You forgot the lower jaw! :o

I just read forums and sometimes, when I have a good idea, do artwork and then stop working on it because one thing isn't right when I'm bored. :P

I visit message boards and engage in the time honored practice of filling up a thread with a really long paragraph, comprised of many words and phrases and, hopefully, not too many misspellings or grammatical violations, carefully constructed so as to appear robust and full of content but, as Shakespeare once described, "signifying nothing".

I once thought about taking up cricket, but sadly there's no place around here to either learn or to practice that game. And, while I may be bored, I don't have an unlimited gas budget, so...

I break my Linux installs... or at the least, I try to. Either that, or I build computers from parts.

I browse /wg/ and 4scrape for wallpapers, then spend hours on GIMP resizing images to get to a 1280*1024 resolution.
I have 400+ wallpapers so far, and many more to be added daily =)

When bored, I refer to the checklist (usually in this order):

- Check Ubuntu community cafe (amongst other forums) for interesting threads.
- Check Ubuntu community cafe (amongst other forums) for amusing threads.
- Check desktop news feeds for interesting articles/news.
- Fire up liferea and check a much more expansive list of feeds.
- Find something to eat.
- $ sudo apt-get update
- $ svn up SVN/* && gitpullall
- Porn surf.
- Clean up browser history ...amongst other things.
- Do some housework.
- Exercise.
- Turn on television.
- Check the comedy/drama channels.
- Check the doco channels.
- Check the kid's channels.
- Contemplate doing something constructive with my life.

I will when I reach the 500 mark :)
What's your resolution? I have:
24x 1280*800
448x 1280*1024
26x 1440*900
67x 1600*1200
44x 1680*1050
7x 1920*1080
35x 1920*1200
18x 25601024+

If you can't tell I use 1280*1024 as my main resolution, and put them all on shuffle. I GIMP the images to the correct size, and keep the originals in case I get a new screen/resolution =)

i have two... 1440x900 and regular hunky dory 1024X768 but anything that is close to those in related aspects gets used. Im also a wallpaper-aholic so i change mine ALL THE TIME. doesnt really matter the pic aspect.. as long as its a good picture.

tusken.

p.s yeah i know 1024X768 is so 5 yrs ago... but so is my monitor.

I refuse to use widescreen, I love my 1280*1024. My favourite new resolution is 1600*1200. I use it at work but we aren't allowed to change wallpapers for data protection reasons :(

work and thier stupid rules... we have a standard gray background with the company logo right smack in the middle of the screen. its pretty horrible. and there is NO way to change it. (im not an admin =(... )

And the widescreen is on my lappy. I didnt have much choice but to go with that... its okay 1440x900 is becoming a more popular res.

p.s i guess i debate screen resolutions when im bored. LOL

In itself a perfect example of what is described, it almost feels recursive.

2:
Boredom for pros. It's like fighting fire with fire.

I read Digg news and Ubuntu Cafe.

I play Wii.

I listen to music.

I program.

I read.

I do a lot of things.
