Yeah, it's kinda worthless, but it was fun to see them all line up for 1 second.

I edited the gnome configuration for the clock applet to display Unix time, and the image thumbnail below shows it at 1234567890 for prosperity.

A friend of mine emailed to tell me about it. Unfortunately I was out to dinner and missed the blessed event by about 3900 seconds. :(
However, I'm an admin on a website run on a Linux box located in the Pacific time zone, so maybe I'll log on to that around 9:31 Eastern time to see its local time hit the magic number.
Of course, in UTC time this happened over 6 hours ago.

yeah its a mp3, but there is no flash anywhere on that site. if you look at the source code its all done in javascript.

What GTK theme are you using? I like the look of that taskbar.
