I am running xubuntu 6.10 and I have a problem with Mozilla Firefox. My hypothesis is that It is not being able to process Java programs (nor adobe) because firefox keeps freezing and shutting out (which I believe is called crashing.) So now when I say "oh I'll just install Opera" guess what happens... I get the download but it can't unpack the package, can anybody guide me through this and make sure i'm getting the right package and stuff.
