Dear everyone

Are there any free tools for creating data tables in web pages, with some columns editable by webpage viewer, and the data in the table accessible by javascript or PHP code.

I know .Net has tools for doing this on .net so I assume that CakePHP and other similiar frameworks should have setups for doing this...
