Latest Kernel giving a problem!!

I just updated my ubuntu to the latest kernel(something-24-23):lolflag:
But when I boot from it my screen blanks out after logging in... I can just see my mouse over a white screen.
I can easily boot through the older kernel (something-24-19)
PLZ Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you post more details about the computer ?
try to upgrade again from the old kernel and try.

I have already updated from the old kernel 2ce and have recived a similar problem both times......
I have a p4 3.0 ghz, asues graphics integrated motherboard, 512mb ram, 64mb graphics card(on-board).
