I've been running Xubuntu on this machine for a long time with no issues. After a fresh install to 8.10, though, something really annoying started happening.
Sessions would start out perfectly fine, but over time letters would slowly transform into blocks, and images and window borders develop streaks and eventually become unrecognizable.
Attached is a screenshot of the effect.
Anyone have any idea why?
