Hello
I just started trying to use Ubuntu yesterday and set it up on my Macbook 4.1. I have everything working except one problem with sound. I use external speakers which are plugged into my headphone jack. I get sound through the internal speakers just fine, but even with my speakers or headphones plugged into the jack it still plays through the internal speakers. I've looked for fixes online, but none of them have worked for me. I know that it is not a hardware problem because when I boot back in to OS X everything works just fine. I realize that this problem has probably been posted before, but all answers I have been able to find on my own haven't worked yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
