Idea: use Google Base for hardware compatibility database

I think this kind of flexible attribute database would be perfect for a hardware compatibility database.

It needn't be limited to a single distribution - it can be just another attribute.

An interesting idea - but one thing. Different distros are compatable with different hardware. (Ubuntu works with everything for me, fedora core doesent work with my sound card, mepis doesent work with my graphics card)
