on loading a website, would hang or time out.
After reading some posts....re-thought what I did tonight.
Downloaded Opera and
Watched some videos on Mplayer, needed to download two shockwave flash files to watch them off my DVD movie files.
Then went back to using the web browsers, slow, slow slow.
Went into Firefox Edit tab, then into Preferences. Clicked on Applications, looked for anything that said Shockwave.
Changed Use Shockwave in Firefox back to Use Movie Player (Default)
Now Firefox and Opera are back to normal speed. Problem solved.
