Hi,
Can i make "wine" recognize my Hp printer PSC 1100 ? So i can use it native software to scan document with selectable text and image

When i tried to install the software i got this error:

http://i66.servimg.com/u/f66/11/66/67/80/hp110010.jpg

Why would i prefer this software to Xscan?
i wanna scan a book (images and text) in pdf format with selectable and searchable text, a thing unfortunately Xscan ocr doesn't offer :(

ps: i m trying also to install hplip, but the installation is taking a lot of time, and downloading many dependencies.. (i ll tell u later if it helps)

Unfortunately not, wine does not have direct access to the hardware so you cannot install a windows driver with it.
