I had Ubuntu 8.1 installed on a single 160GB drive. After a while I run Kubuntu installation and let the setup split the drive into two equal partitions with Kubuntu on the second one.
Kubuntu works fine but after I returned to the original Ubuntu system I found some of my documents simply disappeared.
Have somebody come across such situation? Is there anything I can do to recover my files?
