Hi guys..

I've been using ubuntu for few years - more onto experimenting and programming/compiling C - mostly in TEXT based GUI.

I am not able to feel comfortable with ubuntu GUI - for me, it looks fat - I am not sure either anybody can understand what I feels. The cursor seems like having extra pixel/shadow/outlines (arrow/loading circle/etc.) its hard for me to guest the cursor hot point (especially when clicking one of the sequential a small text link (eg.: page numbers).

Can anybody advice me what theme/skin is the most suitable for me? (I prefer Win2000 GUI without extra fancy anims and shadows and effects) I'd like to comfortably exploring ubuntu system without mistakenly clicking other things.

I also use OpenOffice (always click wrong button) and Blender with ubuntu.

Thank you.
