I have found an Open Source version of Dungeon Keeper being actively developed!!!

At the moment the game is called 'Open Dungeons' and looks very promising. They ahve 1 lead coder who has brought the game to a stage where a menu, and map editor work, although the map editor cannot save/load maps yet.

They have a 3d guy and an animator i believe.

If anyone is interested in helping out head over to

They are looking for a new lead coder i think because the current guy is loosing time rapidly

Anyway, take a look, very promising.

Thanks

Bodsda

I'd love a link too ;)

Hopefully I'll be able to fork some coding time, this sounds interesting!

I just wanted to bump this thread up :), I am also a regular contributor on the project, and we could need more people :), right now we are around 5-8 people that regular contributes to the project :) Our releases have also improved allot since Bodsda first posted this thread, oh and by the way the lead developer is still contributing code very regular, almost every week :) So check out our forum: http://forum.freegamedev.net/viewforum.php?f=15, our wiki: http://opendungeons.sourceforge.net and our Sourceforge project page: https://sourceforge.net/projects/opendungeons/ where you can download the latest release :)

Everything is open source, the code is GPLv3+ and the content is CC-BY-SA3+

Hope you will all come by :)
