I've downloaded several emerald themes, imported them in the emerald theme manager and can see the borders theme in there.
However when I try to get ubuntu to change from the original interface to my desired emerald theme nothing happens, windowborders and all look the same, no changes what so ever?

Is there a setting to enable emerald or something like that?

Specs. 8800 GTS 640, using CompizConfig Settings manager, and Emerald theme manager.

If you need any more information please let me know.

I also have enabled the window cube, wobbly windows, and 3d windows. I dont know if that is getting in the way or if its no worries. I need some help getting this thing to load the emerald theme i want.

I understand that i need "composting" but not quite sure how to enable it.

make sure you have the effects activated, also type this in a terminal:

emerald --replace to restart emerald
