Dapper to Hardy Upgrade failed

ok 12 hours later and the upgrade failed due to failure to update various python libraries. Im now going to have to do a clean install and re-install all my apps and copy my home across to the new drive. I had planned to use aptoncd to generate a cd of all my apps installed on the Dapper drive, and reinstall this to the Hardy drive. When I ran aptoncd it only brought up 18 apps! My dapper install has considerably more than this. How can I reinstall all the apps onto the new drive?
