Desktop Fonts Too Big

I was just wondering if anyone else felt that the default system fonts are too large. I have taken the liberty to scale them down to 8 point monospace, and that seems to modernize the look of the desktop, it also increases screen space by reducing the size of the window decoration titlebar.

Yup, I find the fonts are too large on the default install.

Also I find the default size of icons etc to be far to large. Heck even the 'startmenu' takes up 1/4 of my screen after a default install (1024x768)
