I've noticed that all of my windows computers have updated firefox to version 3.0.6. I looked on the firefox site and they show a version 3.0.6 for linux. I've tried the whole update && upgrade but still very much stuck at 3.0.5.

I'm not all that worried about it but I'm curious should I enable some other repo to get firefox updates or what's the story? Given how exposed browsers are it seems like a package worth keeping current.

well if the ubuntu devs consider it important (i think it's an important update), then you'll have it through the official repos in a few days. otherwise, maybe there are other unofficial repos to distribute firefox.

You won't find 3.0.6 in any launchpad repo because it will get rejected outright because the ubuntu package archive already has xulrunner-1.9.0.6 and firefox-3.0.6 listed. (I tried already...)
