OK, I am trying to setup my computer to dual boot Vista and Ubuntu 8.10. I set up all of my partitions, deleting my Windows 7 install I had in the process, just the way I wanted it. Now when I try to boot my computer, I get:

Verifying DMI POOL DATA.............
Boot from CD:
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

This is said with nothing in the CD drive. I have both my Vista and Ubuntu disks with me.

Thanks for the help!

So, you currently have no OS on your computer, is that correct? If so, install Vista first, then Ubuntu.
