How may I lower the screen brightness and contrast in Ubuntu? In Windows, I use the Intel Graphics Extreme 2, but there isn't one for Linux, as Intel says Linux distros have graphics driver by themselves.
So what to do? I cannot use the Monitor's panel and I don't want to because it is almost broken and its time consuming, and the brightness is fine in Windows. And I don't want it to change when I boot Windows.
Do I need to install graphics driver in Ubuntu?
