Hi there, I recently came across an article about an invisible seperator on the top xfce panel that keeps the clock and notification applet to the right of the panel. Now I deleted the initial panel ages ago while playing around, therefore deleting this and am wondering if there is any way of getting it back. If I don't include the 'task list' applet on the panel then everything is squashed up on the left of the panel. The trouble is that I don't want the task list applet on the panel as I want to use it with AWN.

The article in question can be found here: http://frem.wordpress.com/2007/05/11/xfce-usability/

Here are some screenshots of the problem, the first one is with the task list applet and the second one demonstrates the problem when it is removed from the panel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've figured it out now..just add a seperator, right click it, set to 'expand' and untick 'draw seperator'..voila!
