Hello,
I am using ubuntu 8.10 and I compiled kernel 2.6.28.2. After compiling new kernel, everything works fine, but with some little gotchas:
* The available memory is less (It was 1003M before, now it is showing 985M)
* The Network adapter is not working, although it is detected.
