Hi, i've problems with ISO8859-15 subtitles file. VLC is set with UTF-8 because it can't let me see LATIN characters (ò, à, etc...) i've searched all preferences menu but i can't find it!!
how can i do?

Did you try setting it to "ISO8859-15" manually?
You can do this in the VLC Preferences:
"Input / Codecs"
........"Subtitles" --> Subtitles text encoding: ISO8859-15
Click "Save" and that should do.
