Hello, guys is there a way of adding or removing single file or couple of files from debian package files wiht *.deb extension.

I was building a kernel from its source and at the end make-kpkg will create a debian package once the kernel build is complete. But I am changing a very few files in the kernel source tree and creating package takes a long long time after I make those small changes. Thanks!

Ubuntu is based on Debian. Any debs you install end up in the apt database, and will show up in Synaptic and Add/Remove programs.
