A nine-year-old Malaysian boy in Singapore has written a painting application for the Apple iPhone.

Lim, who is now fluent in six programming languages, first started using a computer when he was two-years-old, discovered programming aged seven, and has since completed more than 20 programming projects.

precocious little scamp, aint he?!

... and the only reason we know about him is the iphone. I bet he can write code for a linux distribution aswell, but that wouldnt be in the newspapaper. Apple rules at marketing. "A 9 year old can make applications for the iphone, you can too!"

Ah, the anti-Apple hatred continues, I see...

So he's developed fluency in several programming languages. With use comes mastery. Hey, he's only 9, so quit cracking on him, alright?
