View Full Version : [ubuntu] Pangolin Trackpad & Keyboard Impressions?

I'm a longtime Mac user contemplating a Pangolin for my next laptop. A couple of questions:

- I read that it is impossible to disable tap-clicking on the trackpad without disabling the entire trackpad. Is this true?

- Can anyone compare the keyboard to a PC laptop keyboard that I could go a get a feel for? I do a lot of typing and getting a sense of the feel of the keys is very important to me.

Thanks!

Hi iamjackshandle:

I have a Pangolin Performance. It is a good machine. You can dissable tap-clicking in the pad options in the mouse menu, so the pad continues working and you click using the buttons.
I cannot answer your second question, but I think that you get used to any keyboard, at least if it is good, in my case I love the keyboard of the Pangolin. I hope other Pangolin users can answer this one.
Guille.
